Two very nice examples in an equally nice lucite holder!
Those two medals are pretty cool looking Outhaul! There have been a few that I have seen that I really liked, like the two you pictured but have never bought any...…...yet
Super nice! I always liked Jamestown too.SCD’S are the best and very addicting

Does anyone know if @SoCalledGuy posts here?
NIce pair! I have this one
He used to post under @SoCalledGuy but hasn’t logged in in a very long while.
Beautiful So-Called Dollars. These are some of my favorites!
They look cleaned. Is that not the case?
There are hairlines on the plastic, but I don't see any on either medal. Nice and original.
I'm considering them for submission, but only if I can get them into a side-by-side double holder. But, I also like the holder they're in. Decisions, decisions.
Perhaps I'll submit them and buy lesser ones to put in the holder?
Cheers
Bob
Nice. I always liked this SCD.
Agree with the OP. Jeff has added a lot of interest to SCD's and the numismatic collecting community. He has also found a few National Commemorative Medals that I have been looking for. My extra shout out is for John T. Dean and his book on the "missed" modern National Commemoratives of the US Mint, 1940 to 2011. I find the hunt for older and many newer US Mint medals to be very much more challenging and rewarding than just looking for a better grade coin in some of my sets.

This opened up a different frontier worthy of pursuit. Go where your interests take you and it likely will not end there but will go into various medals that are truly amazing in terms of what is represented... history, artistic merit and design.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Very nice SCD's Bob.... I have often considered starting a collection of coins/medals with ships on them (old Navy guy, can you tell?).... There are a lot of them, and some very nice ones...Still thinking about it...Cheers, RickO
I'll put this in the nicest way possible. The publishers of this Jamestown Tercentennial dropped the ball by not striking it in gold also. JMHO.
