Are they made of 14k or 18k gold?
Brett only gives those gold ones out to special random people and includes a signed COA.

Green, black or blue..... I have not seen any other colors....Would like some gold ones, with black lettering... Cheers, RickO
or black ones with gold lettering would be nice, just saying
I want one in camo. Harder for thieves to see.
No, but I have a can of gold spray paint if you’d like me to make you one.
You just saved me from posting a hand-made "experimental pre-issue sample box hoax." Probably a good thing because that would probably be frowned upon.
Or harder for me to see. I already lose enough of my own coins and boxes as is!
What's about a crystal clear box?

Clear box lid w/description on the top of the slab.
I don't claim to have invented the idea but in 1990, way before the SEGS slab. I was gluing a thin ID strip to the top of my PCI slabs from the cut-out waste on the part of our label strip that we trashed.
I'll try to get an image when I go to the bank.
That would be a nice innovation to slabs.

Top labelled PCGS slabs would be an excellent idea. Probably ain't gonna happen, tho.
derryb - I'm not that lazy - already checked.
My last order from PCGS came in the black box with gold letters.
The newer slabs that I've gotten recently that have flat thick sides have proven to be easily labeled on the top side if the slab.
way cool
I do that now but it would be nice to have the top labels inherent to the slab.

So did mine. I'm liking the clear box suggested by @Namvet69. Perhaps our host could offer box color as a choice. What do you think?
I think Clear would be perfect. You could kinda tell what was in it without opening it.
I think they were made for Regency holders, so they were discontinued after the initial six were made. 😉

$18 USD each, maybe you can contact them via the email address or phone to see if there is any way to purchase and ship to US. I looked at the PCGS asia website, but they only showed the black box for sale.
For additional information about PCGS and its services, visit www.PCGSasia.com or email info@PCGSasia.com. You can also call PCGS Hong Kong office at +852 2194 6688 for more information.
Boxes are on Ebay for a lot less than $18 each. Worth a look if you need some.
I'll take the black box, you can have the green and gold. Blue is okay

Brett Charville --- I work at PCGS
Not gold but i have been looking for one of these 10 coin PCGS boxes. I have heard they released some out of Shanghai.
I have been wondering if PCGS might consider a 10 coin box. I am working on a set that will comprise 29 coins when completed. A box and "half box" would be great.

BrettPCGS - Any idea how many were made?? Were they distributed in Asia only??
I was able to buy one at the FUN show - like the flow patterns on the box, especially the ends. Will make a nice addition to the Lakesammman PCGS plastic collection.
