Missing Bust Half Turns Up Today

Bought this in a group purchase of halves roughly 14 years ago.
A dealer had just acquired an old collection of bust and seated halves. I was more interested in the seated halves and bought a number of them, then he talked me into buying a couple of lower mintage bust halves, including this one.
Somehow it wound up in a junk box of low value miscellaneous coins, still in the original envelope, that I found today while doing some house cleaning.
Anyway, I think it’s the square 2, no knob major variety, the O-106 sub variety.
Would appreciate verification, and any info on the rarity or scarcity of it:

That's a great find. I "found" my whole childhood coin collection in our basement where I hid it from me and my PTSD for 43 years. Back from the edge, clean and sober was the perfect way to pick up where I left off. Peace Roy

Did you use your metal detector?🙂
Yes sir, it’s a 106 R.1... but the lower mintage 1820’s always carry a bit of a premium
If you haven’t seen this site from a board member, lots of good information.

I found a flying eagle about a year back in a drawer that I lost when I was like 11. Felt like a million bucks

Thanks for the link - that site is awesome!
I would not commit that coin to a junk box.... obviously got there in error..... Is that a die crack or gouge on the reverse beneath I in United? Cheers, RickO
It's definitely on the die, but not sure myself what it is....the O-106 example on the website provided shows that same raised area.
@Walkerguy21D.....Thanks for the reply... and interesting that the website sample has the same anomaly....Cheers, RickO
They are die lumps which exist on all 106s.
Nicest junk box find I've ever seen, even if you did put it in there yourself.
it's crackers to slip a rozzer the dropsy in snide
Nice re-find
