I had these out tonight, so I took some quick cell phone pics.
A little collection of some important and not so important U.S. medals.
Includes some Comitia Americana, Original Inauguration Medals and an assortment of U.S. Mint medals.

That 9/11 medal is beautiful. Reminded me of this picture I took in 1998.

The 1956 Coal Company medal is great! It is not what I would expect to see from a coal company in 1956. I would have expected a much more conservative design. (I've never seen that medal before.)
@291fifth I picked it up at a charity auction for next to nothing. The R&P side was on display and I don't think anybody converted the Roman numerals but me. I think they went bankrupt not long after that.
