Not having a car, figuring out the transitChicago bus thing and the 3 hours of riding and all that walking and 80 stops, no-make that 160 stops, there and back...….it was a small show anyways, 40 tables...….and than some Chinese buffet, more riding and stops......sigh!

That's too bad and it does sound like way too much effort.

Reading this is a great reminder on how diverse of a group we have here on the boards.
Not owning a vehicle is something I can't imagine.
Being able to exist on public transportation, uber, bike, walking, etc. is impossible where I live but I have been around enough to know that owning a vehicle is impractical for many.

No, no....we have a car, we have it parked 2 hours away (rail and bus) where we're not paying $55 a day.

So...I'm not all that diverse from the group...…...it's Chicago.

And the wife's is sitting up having lunch now and doing fine. And we're watching , The Mummy which is breaking a rule of mine.

The wife's lung transplant was this Hospital's 102nd they've done. When they relayed this information, they had a sort of anniversary celebration when they reached 100, days prior.

Just a tidbit of info that blew me away!

Did you ever ask at the reception desk about the discount parking for patients and their families?

Let me guess, the Niles, Ill. show today? You'll be able to see the same Dealers and same inventory over and over again, trust me.
