I strongly suspect it’s no coincidence that the reverse image isn’t as clear as the obverse image. And that the coin bears or did bear a mintmark.

1928 P's have a chamfered rim, not this coin.....

Can't tell from that badly out of focus picture but in that condition it wouldn't be worth much anyway.

I stand by my original assessment. However, why didn’t you include those clearer images initially? I don’t know about other posters, but that choice, and some of the fuzzy images in your other threads makes me want to abstain from participating further.

On the contrary I’m NOT a professional photographer, The pics were taken with my iPhone 8, and finally I don’t need your sarcasm, & smart a@@ answers mr coinguy1. I could care less if you ever comment on my posts.

Looks like it was a 1928 S. But now it's a damaged coin with a removed mintmark.

    Not!

    It is a 28 P

Pitifully punished pilfered 28-S now proudly worth $18 ounce.

While you’re not a professional photographer, you managed to provide a much clearer picture the second time around.

There was nothing the least bit sarcastic about my post. On the other hand, saying that you “could care less” as you did, was an example of sarcasm. I’ll avoid your threads in the future.

At the rate that the mint marks are being removed, the 1928-S may become rarer than the Philly issue.

If your uncertain from those photos you shouldn't be considering buying one of these raw.

It appears to be an altered coin.... in hand, perhaps a different assessment would be possible... Cheers, RickO

But he "could care less" because he cares very much.

Personally, I couldn't care less about this squabble. :)
