1913 type two toned uncirculated buffalo nickel, presently a raw coin, take a stab at grading it.

This coin possesses beautiful natural toning in my estimation. How would you grade it?
Does it have the pizzaz to merit a gem grade? It is currently a raw coin.

Mmmmmmmm . . .such perfect original skin. Just reminds me of that outer 32nd of an inch of sear on a nice piece of A5 Wagyu Beef . . .
Honestly, so hard to say what the 'grade' might be. It doesn't really matter. It could be anywhere from 64-67, and in this coin, it won't matter that much. But still . . . that originality, that character . . . that drilled strike . . . ohhhh.
You have a very nice coin. I would put it in a holder (maybe) . . .or just in a 2x2 and admire it often . .

looks a bit dark from the pics. But there is a chance
Not my series, but doesn't have that "gem look" to my eye. Is that corrosion around the peripheries, particularly on the obverse?
I suspect it will get bagged for environmental damage
I would say it is probably not worth slabbing.... better in an album. Cheers, RickO
I don’t see what I’d call “beautiful toning” or much luster. I’d guess MS63, if not “Unc. Details, Environmental Damage.”

Looks like an MD coin.
You would have to see what’s under that crud

Based upon those images, which is all I have to go by at this point, I would suspect PCGS would call it environmental damage.

MS-63.
The "toning" doesn't do it for me.
Pete
I'd leave it in a 2 x 2 and save my dough.
PCGS wouldn't be as big a fan of that blueish reverse toning as you might be IMHO

It may be original but that type of originality is not usually awarded gem+ grades. From what I can see; if there is any; the luster is heavily impeded by the original stuff, maybe in hand it shows better.

MS-62
I lean towards environmental damage as well, but being just a picture, who knows.

Looks MS62 details. I would not send it in.
Looks a bit too far gone to warrant anything more than MS 63 IMO. I'd give it a bath.
Needs a dip.
From what I can see it’s either 62 or environmental damage. Way too dark in my book to even come close to gem.
Not likely to straight grade.
Looks dull and muted and possibly corroded.

Nice strike, but I agree with others that said environmental damage...
