Thinkin about attending the members only show later this month in Las Vegas. Do dealers sell coins? If they do do they have coins in the $200-$1000 range? Where is a good place to stay thats safe for a family?

You will find coins in that range- it really just depends on what dealers decide to attend and what coins they bring to the show. The show is really small. You have the opportunity to meet and greet with some of the big players in the industry. I have always flown in and out the same day- so other than the one time I got stuck- I dont know where is good to stay

may the fonz be with you...always...

The Venetian is safe. If going to the show and buying/transporting any coins, I'd stay close.

I went to the PCGS members only show in September at the Bellagio. Nice mix of dealers but a little light on the sub-$500 material. Dealers seemed open to talking even on higher-end stuff that I couldn't afford but could gawk at. Depends on who shows up. It will not be like a small "local" show with odds and ends, and some of the dealers are in and out depending on waiting for their coins to come back from PCGS. I ended up having to visit the show (I was staying in the hotel and was able to pop in and out at will) a couple times in order to catch the folks that were there.

GSAs, OBW rolls, Seated, Walkers. Anything old and Colorado-focused, CO nationals.

Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.

There have been some interesting reports from this show over the years....If you go, please give us a report from your perspective. Cheers, RickO
