This one is a bit tricky.
I'll say 2001 A Space odyssey.
The opening put me to sleep.

The documentary "Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett and his Championship Seasons."
Gone with the wind. It was so good, that I didn't watch it twice.
That would really be a short movie. They would roll the opening credits followed immediately by the closing credits.
I don't know. I won't until I see it.

Ralph
They shoot horses don't they. That was painful to watch.
"Avatar" I suppose, since I have never seen it. Among the classics, that would be "8 1/2."
Rocky
.
Raging Bull
And I've seen a ton of movies; I don't know why I never saw this one.
And to the guy who said "Avatar", that is the worst movie you've never seen, and you should keep it that way.
Chariots of Fire. Tried to watch it a couple of times and fell asleep.
wait so should I see avatar or don't see avatar ?
Ok movie, over rated as far as I am concerned.
So it appears Gene Tenace didn't retire, just changed his name to Steve Balboni!
casa blanca
Not sure where the thumbs go on this.
I heard the basic plot for “Avatar,” and figured it was too PC for me.
you'll be hard-pressed to find a top-100 list that excludes it
i recommend
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
Jake died about a year ago. Small town in Arizona I believe.
Edit: Well ok, it was 2017 and Florida.
Time for a bike ride.
Yes, “Raging Bull” is an excellent film.
Jake Lamotta was exactly that, a raging bull. He once said about the Mob, "I ain't afraid of them rat bums". That takes balls, and he said it on national TV.
I have never seen easy rider. Everyone seems to think that is a pretty iconic film
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
It debuted when I was in undergraduate school. I saw it probably four times back then. There was some morality to it. The principles, who were into dealing hard drugs, were done in by a couple of southern bigots. The most memorable aspect to it was that was the break-though film for Jack Nicholson.
It's a Wonderful Life
wizard of Oz

Well, THAT's just evil. Are you Satan ?
Probably The Godfather Part II
I finally saw It's a Wonderful Life just before this past Christmas. I don't know what took me so long. I loved it. I raved about it to my wife. We then both watched it together.
Before watching Avatar, I knew that there were thematic elements to the movie they were trying to hit you over the head with, whether you agree or don't. I knew that going in, but I had heard it was worth a watch just for the experience. And I have to say it is worth a watch if you ever have the time.
Edit to add: I am not saying it is a movie I would ever want to watch again. However, my wife and two of my kids enjoyed it enough to watch it a few more times.
That is definitely the best movie you've never seen, because it's best movie.
I have seen about half of it and it is very good. I still have to see the other half as well as three which I have owned for a dozen years.
