Boomer. Gave to me by my supermarket boss. He called me his complaint department because of my booming voice.

"DVD" = DiVecchia, Donato
I have a pin from Italy that my grandfather gave me about 50 years ago. In Italy where I was born your surname is in front of the first name, so the initials on the pin are "DVD". Not coin related, but the pin is gold.

Hmmmm....
High school friends still know me as....Ginsu.
Given to me by a junior high football coach while trying to convert me from guard to center. It sounds vaguely like my last name, (if you squint), and the Ginsu knives were all over TV at the time. So, he dubbed me, "Ginsu, the amazing snapping machine".
Crazyhounddog. One day I might be able to explain it away.

Drunner. When I started here, 75 pounds ago . . . I was still running marathons and a few odd ultras. Hence . . . D-Runner. The aileron roll is a tribute to the old days . . . USAFA'78.
I guess I could change to something more accurate and timely, but "PortlyKeyboardCommando" was already taken.

I told my grandkids that was my proper title. It worked for awhile, but they've since caught on.

RickO......Started many years ago...Rick for Richard and O for my last initial...Somehow it became an appellation.... even when I moved to a new job, new geographical area...It would quickly develop....I guess when someone would refer to me by 'Rick', and another would ask 'Rick who?'...They would just say 'RickO'.....and so it goes... Better than the occasional term that has been thrown my way..... Cheers, RickO
It was Car-Guy, since I bought, sold, traded and worked on 60's vintage cars for the last 25 to 30 years. And if you think coin collecting can be a money pit, just try car collecting/refurbishing... No contest!
