Belated Christmas Gift from my Daughter - What is your preference?

DiggerJimDiggerJim Posts: 406 ✭✭✭✭

Mail Call today from my daughter. Been wanting this particular Loupe for awhile now and it came recommended by someone on this forum. This might have been a previous topic but what is your preference in magnification?

And I just wanted to show it off also!!!

    Zeiss makes very good glass.

It should be a good glass for grading and spotting some varieties. Zeiss is a good brand.

You won't need both lens for casual inspection.

Nice glass. I have several different scopes for my various rifles and Zeiss is undoubtedly one of the best I've ever owned... It should be for well over $1000 per scope.

    Sweet!

When considering optics, very few can beat a Zeiss.

Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Excellent choice... I have that identical loupe.... Zeiss is high quality glass. As for rifle scopes, I have Leupold...Cheers, RickO

IMO Leupold's are probably one of the best value rifle scopes on the market today. (Price/performance) I do have 1 Zeiss, 1 Swarovski (that S should be a $ sign) 2 Leupold's, a B&L and even an old Tasco. The B&L and Tasco aren't mounted and are just sitting in my surplus stuff. Surplus gun stuff is sort of like surplus coin stuff... Seems to accumulate.
