Now, I know all about Machine Doubling. At least I think I do? This subject is probably the most posted about here on our Forum?
Here I have pictured a Jefferson from 1959. Notice how strong this is! Not only once hit but at least twice. Is this still the dreaded M.D.? Thanks guy's in advance. -joey

On my screen it almost looks like damage - metal pushed up. .
In any case, the doubling looks flat top me, which is a standard indicator for MD.
Is there a known DD for this date/mint? If not, then that would seal it for me. (If there is, on the other hand, just match up to pictures of the known DD).
Die erosion + damage spend it.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Would have fooled me...Nice pics!
The lower shelf is wider than the upper one on the lower stand of the R. That plus no splitting of the serifs eads me to agree with pcgs on this one. Of course, I have not seen the coin in hand.

I can't tell. I will defer to BIG DOG and the other Jeff specialist out here.
Nice pics!
Damage of the type that cuts into the letters near the rim, Looks like it continues on the "ST" also.
I see what your saying.
Too blurry but lookslike a cut/hit traversing through TRUST into the field.
Possible coin roller/crimper damage.
@joeykoins Please post a clear perimeter pic, or at least WE TRUST and the field after TRUST.
Edit: Sorry it seems I am going OT but checking to see if it’s a continuation of the cut/hit.
Sorry but that is not a doubled die.
Looks like PMD to me.... and 'maybe' some MD... but mainly looks like damage. Cheers, RickO
Really.
