I thought this was a really nice coin for the grade with no marks or distractions. The RPD is great. You can see the base of a 1 between the 51 and on the first 1 there is a line half way up. And the base has what looks like 3 punches. Thanks for looking and comments welcome. This is my first Large Cent so........................

That coin looks awesome. Congratulations on your find.
choice for an XF, really can't go wrong with those being so inexpensive. BTW, PCGS cert verification has a pic for you too!
Your first Large Cent? Be careful or you might get hooked.
Beautiful, crisp and clean.
I also thought it was nice for grade. On the PCGS photo......this photo is much more of how the coin looks in hand.
I like it!

Nice one!

Very nice overall, good variety, and like BD said, choice and solid for the grade.
Looks like a strong 40. Nice coin.
Nothing wrong with this coin, a perfect circulated large cent!
But I was expecting it to be the 1851/81 variety from you!

Would that almost be an MPD? I'm supposing not since I don't see it in the other devices, but that first 1 is really high!
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
I looked at both varieties and actually like this one better. It was also the nicer looking one.
You can never just have one 😈 Agree with your assessment. Great fields and choice for sure
Yeah, the PCGS images are less flattering. But I think you should adjust the color, unless the obverse really is more green and the reverse more red.
Cool coin. I love the quirky large cent series.

Nice for the grade. Welcome to the copper side.

That's a nice coin! ... Wow ... Large cent
I have always liked the large cents ...have a few that I acquired over the years... Nothing special (well, one that has been altered, sent to me by a forum member)...I like the feel of the big copper...Cheers, RickO
Yes, I will have to work on that. The obverse is the same color as the reverse.
