My 2019 Year-End Results

I've been absent on the forum for most of the year. Ended up working quite a bit more than expected. Definite inverse relationship between detecting time and job income!

Looks like I only got out 9 times this year, which is unheard of. Also, since 2009 I had found at least 50 silver coins a year detecting, and that did not happen this year. Also, found some kind of copper each year, but not this year. So, without any more hesitation, here's my 2019 totals (note, this is the whole year, so prepare to be underwhelmed!).

    You still found more silver than I did. Knowing you you will be back at the silver beach for a bunch of good finds.

    Nice to see you're still putting the coil to the ground, even if not as often as in past years . I haven't been active on here in a long time, maybe a couple of years now. Life has changed for me and metal detecting is on the shelf for the foreseeable future. It was fun for a while, but I have too many other interests and obligations competing for my time these days. I did start looking at my non-dug coins again and will do a little with collecting, and I still see the occasional "parking lot" type of find. Last night, I found a brand new fireplace grate with tags still on it, next to a dumpster not far from my place. I was going to buy a new one to replace mine, and now I don't have to :smile:. Hope everyone is doing well and finding lots of goodies these days.
