I've got 75+ mayonnaise jars full of quarters and only quarters. Saving them since
1983. I've spent maybe $2 of them since I started. I'd like to buy the quarters from
the containers from @Downtown1974 and @bsshog40 . I don't know why I picked
quarters to save, just did.

I have about seven two-three quart and a gallon jug ....segregated by cents, nickels, dimes and quarters.....I just keep adding from pocket change.....got to search them someday...Cheers, RickO
Luckily, I search all coins before they go into the jugs. Lol
Growing up we always used covefee cans, they used to be 3 full lbs. and no PC 'statement of virtue' banner wrecking the aesthetic. Anyway, time to go to coinstar!
I have a couple large jars of change lost in the basement among boxes and boxes of stuff ( half my basement) that never got unpacked 10 years ago when we moved. By the time they ever see the light of day again they will be like ancient coins found in a dig.
If you guys put all of these coins back into circulation, the mint could shut down production for a few weeks.

For a while I was hoarding pennies and halfpennies from Britain and her assorted dominions. I have literally thousands of them in this approximately 35kg jug. They range in date from the 1690s all the way up to ca. 1967-8 when decimalisation occurred around the world. There are a few farthings in betwixt the mix. It is mostly British, with a lot of Aussie, South Africa and Ireland to make up the whole lot. The largest single lot was over 600 of Aussie pennies from 1912-1964 that came in a large heavy box all the way from Oz.

Hmmm, I bought part of a man's hoard of English Pennies 5 or 10 years ago. He had 500 pounds! I started with buying 100 pounds as I didn't know how easy they would be to sell and never saw him again.

Ah man, I figured you changed it. I've been dreaming about cans since you started the thread.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.
The previous software let you "choose your title" after 10,000 posts...
So I got there, and asked for:
Prefers 'em Busty
was denied... no variation of the double entendre was acceptable either.

Here is another hoard, I actually have a couple of large containers of 1937-1978 Canadian cents plucked from circulation or roll searches:
Also have jugs full of British and commonwealth predecimal coins like threenubs, tanners, bobs, florins and halfcrowns.
Old coffee cans for me. Interesting "Jugs" here for sure.

10 years ago we’d have seen a scarjo pic or two by now. Please don’t do it, this is a good thread. Just sayin.
