Common variety?

(yes, I know the images aren't the best)

TIA.

The images are not ideal so I could be way off but if the coin is genuine it appears to be a small letters variety, which has a few dozen varieties itself. The large letters variety should have a very large unmistakable die break on the eagles right wing located about half way down and extending towards to the leafs on the branch (left wing as you look at the coin).

The surface looks deformed on the obverse... is that damage or stain? Cheers, RickO

Looks to be a late die stage O-116, an R-3 die marriage.

Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

I don't think there are any 1832 die marriage that don't sell as generic in these grades.
