Put money outside tonight....New Year's Eve....Bring in after midnight for luck.

Forgot about this tradition but we do it in our family.
Suppose to "keep money coming in the house all year long"

I'll have to ask my mom about this one later.
She just texted to remind me.

I just put out a roll of Georgia Innobucks...(yes I finally got them)
Apparently anything works??? ;)

I put money out overnight in this hood and I'll be lucky to see a thank you note in the morning.

I never heard of that one.... I'll put out a statehood quarter tonight. Nobody wants them anyway. :)

Will dip a silver bullion in water, set on porch. Will need hammer and chisel to remove in the morning. :D

Southern tradition is to eat collards for green money and black eyed peas for change on New Year’s Day. Supposed to bring financial good luck. I don’t like collards and it has never worked anyway, at least for me.

I have to do that every year. I always know what's for supper on New year's day!

    Odd responses...
    I Live in rural Pennsylvania

There are no porch pirates here.
We are allowed to shoot them in this state.

Our legal problem is who has to remove the body.
We have rules tough, civilized , no more than 10 holes and you have to call it in before body is outside temp.

    BTW...Money back in :)

Good to know - just happens I had collard greens for New Years Eve dinner last night. I'll be looking in the mail box for all that green that will be head d this way.
