Back story - NGC had it as Genuine, Cleaned, Unc Details and Leroy thought it genuine. PCGS has it now.
I noted on the submission that the mint mark was suspect and requested that they give it a good look to see if genuine or added.

Please let us know what PCGS has to say about this coin....and thanks for linking the old thread....Cheers, RickO
Indeed I will. It will be 2 or 3 weeks, PCGS just recieved it on Friday.
I didn't mean to post about this yet, I planned on waiting until the results were in. I was trying to make a draft and somehow it posted and I couldn't figure out how to delete it.
There was a VamWorld thread which seems to have been lost in their server change or something. A majority of comments there were certain it was a P with an added CC.
Definately excited to see the results on this one!
The possibility of a sandwich coin had also occurred to me, but nothing has that mint mark position in 82-CC, 83-CC or 84-CC. The closest is 91-CC VAM 3, but still not a match.

No signs of sandwich or of a push-up on the edge.
