Submission results from my first PCGS submission.

I did not get into buying raw coins until about a year ago, prior to that most of my collection acquired over the past 20 years or so was purchased graded, as to prevent the possibility of being ripped off by unscrupulous sellers. Based on the results of my first submission, I guess I should have been buying raw coins for a lot longer. Some disappointments, but mostly satisfactory results. Many of the non-gem graded Morgans are actually toned.

Enjoy. Many thanks to the user here who allowed me to submit my coins through them, as I had never done it before. I will have to get my own membership after this!

I am not surprised by the Questionable Color on the 1888-O, I knew that was a chance. The 1964 half dollar has no date thanks to wear.

MS65 1928 Peace $1! Nice! Why no trueview on that one?

    Two stellar CC's there!
Why the not verifiable on the Kennedy? It's silver and the only 90% silver Kennedy half, no date is needed I would presume. Don't they have a metal verifier at PCGS?

I was not expecting a MS65. Merry Christmas to me.

I guess they cannot tell if it is an off-year silver error or maybe a heavily circulated modern silver proof? I am not sure. It is pretty obviously 90% silver in hand by sound. I would be curious to hear more thoughts on this once I have it back and can post some pictures.

Oh, the 64 half was a lowball. I wondered.

I had around 18 years buying coins in slabs to work on my eye. Even then, these grades mostly surpassed my expectations. Thank you both!

I am 9 beers deep including a almost a full 6 pack of Bells Two Hearted and I really cannot believe how great these results are. I am going to have to send almost all of these to CAC!

My total cost basis including grading fees is approximately $3,200.

That's an outstanding sub, congrats! MS-67 from a raw find is no small feat! I've still yet to find one in the wild.
