Nice Mickey Mantle "Find" from 1960...post your big cardboard!

I collect tobacco advertisements. Chesterfield is my favorite, but I came across this one. It was above the cigarette machine in a hotel that was torn down. The thing I like--despite the obvious torn-in-half cardboard and a few peripheral wrinkles and tears, is the word "Homerun" is in tact and Mick's face is really clean and free of distractions, scuffs, etc.
There is no way for guys to hold a cigarette and smile without looking effeminate..." not that there's anything wrong with that!"

Nice piece and an interesting collecting niche. It's funny how some of those old advertisements touted smoking as being good for you in some cases. How times have changed.
Got this a long time ago. Would of looked sweet back in the day with a Ted signature on it. Colors are still very strong.
Super color! Beautiful!

I know, not Mantle, but I thought it was pretty cool!
I think it's from a Wilson Glove advertisement.
