Has anyone ever heard of any quarters other than the Kansas quarter with a “god we rust” error? I found a 1974 Washington quarter that appears to have a similar error, thought it was interesting.

It’s a grease filled die error. Interesting if you ask me.

Definitely an error, clad quarters usually don't rust.

I know a guy who has a special jar for coins like these.
Cool coin, but be careful. That “Rust” might get you TETANUS !!!

First time posters seem to excel at great photography. So many photos. And good ones too! What is their secret? Welcome aboard Gfallon13!!!!!!
The missing T in Trust is a common filled die error. It is no different than any other filled letter or device. Unfortunately the Kansas example has been overhyped, and new collectors think it's special. It's interesting but that's about it.
IF the letter was missing from the DIE, then it would be special, but that that can't happen during die production
Keep them if you like them, but don't fall for the hype and spend good money on this type of filled die error
@Gfallon13....Welcome aboard.... As stated above, a grease filled die.... Interesting, but no significant numismatic value.... Cheers, RickO
