Coins in Motion Videos - An Experiment

Senator32Senator32 Posts: 405 ✭✭✭✭✭

I am getting better at these 'Coins in Motion' videos. Would love to hear what you all think - I know there are areas I can improve on (so far am doing this all with my phone camera  and need a SLR to do it correctly). Going to post a few of the individual videos on the channel as the month goes on. Anywho, looking forward to the feedback from this group.

looks really good. i like the cert number idea well. it would be good to have another animation where the coin 'flips' over at the half way mark of the video...

Very impressive... If you can do that with your phone camera, I cannot imagine how great the presentation would be with an SLR.... Thanks for showing us.... Cheers, RickO

Very well presented with the flowing movement.
Looks really complicated to produce. Is it?

Very nice display of a coin's luster. Perhaps you could post a single coin where we could blow up the image and control the rotation more slowly? More like we have the RAW coin in hand.

Fairly complicated yes. I am trying to simplify the process. A long term goal is to make a device that does it automatically.
