I Haven't seen him or Lawnmowerman around in a while.
If anyone here doesn't understand that Stone193 is the GOAT poster on this Trading Cards & Memorabilia Forum, then they are either new or they haven't been paying attention.
Mike mentioned to me about a month ago that he was taking a break. Everything was good with him but he just needed a break.

Very cool and understandable, I've just never seen him disappear for this long. It's great to hear it's by choice and nothing serious.
I guess Lawnmowerman needs a break as well, he's right up there with stone on the number of years he's been at it.

Sometimes we all just get tired of it from time to time. Or a life event puts the hobby on the shelf. I think it happens to everybody eventually in one form or another.

There are posts I see from a while back where he had a mega man cave being built in the basement. it looked pretty cool. Think his wife got upset with it and has locked him down there with no internet and now just let's him out when time to cook breakfast upstairs ?

There was a poster of the year thread started here a long time ago, and Mike (Stone193) basically won it unanimously.
I forget, I think it was either Matt (Lawnmowerman) or Rube who won it the second year.
You're right, I just took a look at it. It was in 2011. That's pretty cool.
Some of us that have been here forever have seen many people come and go over the years. We all need a break and I know I have taken more than one break that lasted for 2-3 years or more. There were some good peeps and some good times. It's good seeing old names come back from time to time.

Matt has disappeared for extended periods of time in the past. He does come back eventually. Probably when the Cowboys win the NFC East by default.
