I finally got the Snake and Eagle reverse that I so wanted the United States Mint to Produce. Mintage of 1.
Show us your high-grade examples of the Snake and Eagle Reverse from our Southern Neighbor, by far one of my favorite foreign coin designs.

Here is one I have in silver with some proper toning
typically, a strike through will be repeated on a number of consecutive coin strikes. The first one however is the most pronounced.
While struck coins do not appear consecutively in a bank roll, I once found six identical obverse strike throughs searching a box of new quarters. You could tell the order in which they were struck as the strike through slowly diminished.
Repetition of ignorance is ignorance raised to the power two.
not with the number of bullion coins that are struck. Strike throughs are much rarer on limited edition collector gold and silver coins issued and sold directly to the customer by the US mint.
I once submitted a $50 AGE with a nice round strike through on the reverse in the field above the eagles. Requested a "Full Moon" error label but the TPG would fulfill the request.

Ya that's the one, such an awesome design
Really cool error, neat how the "snake" goes right to the eagle's beak
Well, here in Southern California we ARE actually Northern Mexico so at least I'm glad that the mint has decided to recognize US!!! It's about time.
The San Francisco MInt struck 2,000,000 Mexico silver pesos in 1949. They were dated 1898.

I am glad the eagle prevailed
Nice one Mr. Errors
Cool gold error.... Any idea of what the material was? I could not determine anything from the picture, did not seem to be any remnant material. Cheers, RickO

1904 Mexico Peso - Rainbow Toned
Rainbow toned 1904 Mexico Peso: the color is amazing on this and looks just like the TrueView. I purchased this from the TrueView only and couldn't be happier. Thanks @PCGSPhoto !

Cast copy of a John Milton medal: I picked up this from William Blanding's descendants who sold his collection in 2017. I'm still working on tracking down an original John Milton piece.
