I just thought I would share this 1958 D penny that I found in a bankroll today. It isn't an error coin or anything. I like it because it is the nicest wheat penny I have ever found in circulation.

Very nice for a circulation find!
Much better than average.

Nice find these days.
These sometimes appear as heirs dump coins from hoarded rolls back into circulation after the original owner has died.
Very nice and clean. Fresh from the mint!!

Nice find! ... Looks pretty clean. you never know what's in a roll of coin.
That is a very nice cent for 61 years old.... Likely from an old collection.... I would put it away for sure. Cheers, RickO
Always neat to find a shiny coin in circ and then realize it was madr decades ago.
Beauuutiful! The reverse has a Cameo tendency. Thanks for showing it off to us.

It's got to be really something when you crack open a roll and a coin like yours pops out among the regular stuff.

Uncirculated 1957 and 1958 wheat rolls are occasionally available at coin shows for under $10. I think they're a good value at that price. When I began collecting, 60-year-old (Indian) cents were still occasionally found in circulation, but nice uncirculated examples were already several dollars each.
