    Nice CC! :)

Die cracks on Morgan's are common, it might help you to find the vam for it if you are so inclined. ;)

Thanks correction on date. It’s in a very old holder has great reflection and strike obviously the marks around observe take it down. Was also trying to find Vam

    Love the CC's.

    I vote 63 as well.

It looks approximately 62+ and non-PL to me.

I don't understand "PLQ" and I think I understand lots of the common and accepted Hobby acronyms/abbreviations/shorthand.

    A 63. Nice coin

It appears to be a 63 with the chatter on the obverse....the shadow on the obverse could be concealing, so maybe a 62....Cheers, RickO

I agree, NOT even close to PL. I hope it is not TPG'ed as one!

Mark, I'm going to use your post as a point of discussion. It took me a while to realize that a coin graded
MS-63 by a major TPGS may not be my personal MS-63. A 63 can have lots of detracting marks in the PFA.
The marks on this coin APPEAR light and scattered. The luster on original CC $ often accounts for a little more "grace" when assigning a grade. I'm going to guess it is in a 63 holder. Probably not much difference in price between 62+ and 63-C.

EDIT Looked again. This coin COULD even sneak into a 64 slab if it is a "blazer."

    PCI holder? Someone else?

Very routine looking CC dollar to me. I don' t know about the VAM

If that is in a PCI holder from the 90's - grading was different. PCI would have put that into an MS-64 slab.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

I was just guessing. It looks a little like the old PCI holders. It can't be NGC unless the OP is just trying to suggest it is very undergraded.

Did the OP ever say what grade was on the holder?

    Ditto

It is a guess the grade.
