Good for you coin flip. So you were the 7th in line then? What was the temperature outside and how long did you stand outside? TYIA. Wish I could of been there it’s obvious you had your act together and knew where to be. Sounds like a all day affair?

Wonder what the market is for your ticket. Maybe it's flipable.

  • It certainly was a profitable enterprise for dealers involved and astute collectors. Always fun to watch these events unfold.

I heard it took longer than 17 minutes to sell the 500 pieces, how many times did you go through? Did any of the certs get signed?

I think it may be worthwhile as a collectible.

LOL! There were still folks in line buying them with their ticket after I was finally able to buy mine around 5. I got my ticket at 11. I'm wondering if some who were behind me in line were able to get their coins on the 1st day.

A few people were able to go through the line Saturday and buy a 2nd coin.

I was wondering those that picked up their coins in Baltimore. First TYIA!

Were the coins you picked up sealed?
So you had to open them up to find the COA # correct?

If they were sealed and you wanted to get them graded did you go to another station to submitt them for Grading PCGS or NGC table?

Thank you I am just trying to figure out how they eventually got to the graders either open or closed. Of course the ones from the Mint they had to be sealed to get both coin and COA encased in their special pieces.

    Again Thank you!

Opened boxes, some requirements for enclosed mint receipt
