My early (1916-33) circulated Walker set - almost complete!

It's just lacking both of the 1917-S issues. I've just missed out on a couple of the obverse pieces, the "common date" reverse in XF has been a bear and a half to find and still no luck. It's still been an enjoyable set to put together though; the early dates are pretty tough to find in decent shape in VF or XF, especially uncleaned.
Question for registry participants - why is the 1933-S in the early and the later sets?
The set, all pieces are graded from VF-20 to XF-45 (edited from the earlier posting to add the 33-S reverse):

Nice job! I love evenly matched circulated sets like this one; definitely shows a lot of patience not to cut corners when building a great set.
Great job!
Congratulations 👍
That's a very attractive circulated set!
That's a nice set! When I put together a full set, it took a long time to find a 1916-S obv with a legible mint mark. Maybe it was just bad luck, but I looked at several with a mint mark that was a splotch that could have been a D, an S, or some other letter. I don't recall having a problem with either of the 1917-S varieties.
Those are some nice walkers!!!
Dang. Those look great all together like that. I've got an album set going but mostly pulled from 90%, most not nearly as meaty as those.

That is a really great set of beautiful WLH's....Well done indeed!! Cheers, RickO
A truly beautiful set, and a difficult set to assemble.
Well done!
You just got a love that set!!
Early walkers are very challenging in XF through AU grades! Very low pops!!
I think that the 1917 S reverse is tough to find nice, in any grade, as it took forever to find an acceptable 64 for my set.
I have no idea why the 1933 S is included in the intermediate set. I don’t believe that it should be, because it is technically an early walker and is represented in that set, as well, so it is redundant.
The 1933-S usually comes well struck but is very tough to find with clean surfaces. That’s why gems are so pricey and scarce.
