Someone should pull one of Roger's books to fact check me. While modern proofs are multi-struck, I thought Roger said older coins were struck once but with much higher pressure using a medal press. I miss Roger.
Older proof can have flat looks but the no motto 60 should have contrast and none of the coins I have reviewed show missing feather details yet appear with details in flag cap and dress details even atEF40 so my conclusion is either fake or not proof. Dentils should be large rims and contrast it may even be fake but I only looked at about 30 pics. The proof qty survival is around 580
