Following on @RINATIONALS thread of history lost or saved with a coin or currency item.
Here are two of my "saves":
bob :)
Bob Hope note. Mr. Hope spent much of his time in the Pacific Theater visiting troops in hospitals....I can only imagine a Veteran carrying or keeping this note till the day he died.

    I have signed books (one by Bob Hope), but no currency....While not an autograph hound, having an author sign his/her book always appealed to me. I also have a copy of 'A California Gold Rush History' signed by Q. David Bowers.... Other signed books of interest to me....Cheers, RickO
