Anyone have more info about these? Id assume they were commissioned at the time but I don't know about what they are made of or the value of them.
There are a number of them listed on ebay
New to forum, but a two decade on-and-off collector that still has lots to learn.
I had not seen these before, however, there were many bi-centennial items made during that period. Cheers, RickO
Medals, not coins that were privately minted. Limited collectibility, so not worth a great deal monetarily. But could hold a lot of sentimental value.
I'm a former resident. Probably more value in the cardboard with the old First Federal logo, a very long time Charleston bank. I believe in 2014 First Federal changed its name to South State Bank.
