1972 d no FG ?

Does anyone see an FG

    Doesn’t seem to have the initials but there does appear to be some suspicious “lines” that it was removed post mint.

    Need the eye of @Insider2.

    What is glaring is that “stain” at 12 on the reverse.

    And, the devices, letters, and numbers are mushy... late stage die.

    It's an extremely worn reverse die. The initials probably were eroded off with the rest of the deterioration. The die likely had the initials at one time

    On my screen I seem.to see a very blurry G and something where the F would be. Might just he very worn fors as suggested, especially since the feathers are so indistinct.

    But good pics, anyway. :p
