When you buy a coin with a Credit Card, what's your typical wait for shipping?

Placed an order with a dealer whose shipping policy says that CC orders receive priority shipping. I'm accustomed to seeing an item ship same day or next day when purchasing this way. Not this time. How 'bout you?

    Probably depends on the seller.
    I'm not sure.

Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb, Ricko

Bad transactions with : nobody to date

It all depends on the seller..... I have seen immediate shipment and I have seen as much as seven days delay. Cheers, RickO

I expect same/next day and usually get that.

Usually 24-48 hours. Sometimes as long as a week.

Depends on the seller. If I know them well (bought from them many times), it doesn't matter if I use a credit card, wire transfer or check. They typically send the same day they get the payment info or check.

Besides depending on the seller (which I agree with), it can depend on the situation. If they are at a coin show, or closed for a long weekend, or if great-nephew Wilbur is getting married....suddenly quick shippers can become slow.

I'd wait 4 or 5 days before poking them.....

Order was placed 5 days ago. The next day, since the order was still listed as 'processing', asked if they'd cancel the order since I found a better price elsewhere. They said no, too late. I said fine, that must mean you're ready to ship soon. Yes, "we will probably ship today". When I checked for a status update yesterday they said they were busy and would get to it ASAP.
I buy a lot of stuff online including coins & this is not the kind of service I'm used to. Same day or next day ship, again and again.

Some sellers have to first acquire the coin they “sold” to you from the person who currently owns it. It happens all the time.

Tell them that if they don't accept cancellation, you are just going to refuse delivery and file a chargeback.

Next day is the norm for weekdays unless the seller isn’t able, which should be specified. 5 days is too long without a good reason. Lousy business person.

That's so true.... These days I often see the same coin offered by several different dealers websites. Never sure who really has it. Prices also vary although usually within 20 to 30 bucks.

According to the OP, the item has been shipped.

I’m all for excellent customer service, and based on the information provided, such service was sorely lacking, here. However, unless at the time of purchase, provisions or representations were made for fast shipping, cancellation wouldn’t seem to have been justified (five days after the order was placed).

There we have the real issue. I'm thinking the 5 day thing magically wouldn't have been such a big deal had the coin been underpriced. SMH.

Lol I've overpaid for tons of coins. The price i got with ths one is stil decent. When you're dealing with coins shipping is a sensitive issue.

I have sold thousands of items on line(not coins) and generally shipped within two days. I don't get with the need for urgent shipping. I am not talking about weeks but say within a week . What is the big hurry. a few days really makes no difference. I now buy a fair amount on line and don't even inquire about the shipping. It will get here when it gets here. Like someone said instant gratification is now the norm.

Others can keep ordering from vendors who take twice as long to ship. Their prerogative. Aint the free market grand.
