Here are the 1962 PD Washingtons for my A toner Dansco. The D was imaged by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.

    Very nice!

Hard to see, but there appears to be something on the top left of the “D” mint mark? Unsure.

    Just a little ding.

As mentioned in a previous post, I have to limit my raw coins to a certain quality level, as otherwise they get into the slabbed level of quality. I have cracked a few slabbed coins for my Danscos, but for the most part, e.g. the vast majority, I've found them raw. I started a raw Washington Dansco album after I had completed my Registry set. I liked Washingtons, and wanted to continue to collect more, I had just reached the price/performance level that I was most comfortable with for my slabbed coins (e.g. upgrading would cost a chunk of change without much of a visual upgrade), hence my moving on to raw coins. Of course, coin collecting OCD occurred, and I continually upgraded my coins, hence instead of a single Dansco album I now have 3 Dansco albums, my so called A, B and C albums.

For whatever reason, I had the most trouble for any of the raw toned 1940 - 1964 Washington quarters finding 1962 raw toners. This was not the case for toned 1962 Washingtons that were slabbed, compared to other Washingtons of the 1940 - 1964 stretch. It's interesting how this all works out. I'm not thrilled with my 1962 raw Washies, but they're certainly acceptable.
