Rakuten (used be called Ebates) is a cashback program with hundreds of participating on line retailers including ebay (currently paying 1%). New members to Rakuten are getting a $40 reward for signing up at this link and spending a total of $40 at participating merchants before Dec. 26. I will also collect a referral fee from Rakuten when you earn your free $40. I highly recommend adding the Rakuten cashback extension to your Chrome browser toolbar, as it gives you one button activation if the on-line merchant you are visiting (such as ebay) is offering Rakuten rebates. Use this button to activate your cashback.
Mr. Rebates is once again offering 1% cash back rebate on ebay purchases as well as cash back at many other online stores. Coin category is currently not eligible, but they are constantly revising the status. You can sign up here. I've never used an iPad to purchase from eBay but I would assume you can find out by going on an item and seeing if it's giving 10%. For instance with this current promotion on a $100 item viewed on my computer would show $8 ebucks and on my phone app would show $10 ebucks. Hope this helps.

FWIW you still earn ebay bucks and bonus bucks when you complete a "make offer" purchase or accept an offer/counter offer through the message system. Only requirement is that you complete payment during the bonus bucks period. So aafter making an offer monitor it closely and be sure to cancel it if not accepted by the end of the bonus buck period.
