1915 buffalo nickel with monster full strike

Recently won this 1915 buff on eBay. Great looking buffalo with a full strike. One of my favorites is the 1915-p which can come with a monster strike and look -- described by the seller as "Choice Uncirculated" -- but only comes this well struck once in a blue moon

Just got this coin in the mail today. It is a business strike and I would grade it ms66 or maybe even ms67. Not bad for a few pennies less than $45! This coin was shot with what I would call “enhanced lighting” which someway enhances the coins fine lines and makes them darker. At first i thought this was a proof but it is not. Nonetheless a very beautiful buffalo nickel in its own right. Reverse struck from a matte proof die characterized by the straight line on the rim to the left of the buffalo.

Well struck but the many black specks are a negative. Less than $45 makes it a good buy.
That is a really nicely struck Buff....Very nice indeed.... Cheers, RickO
100% all there!
Nice but the specks are a bit distracting. Looks 65 max IMO, still a good buy!

Based on the images, I agree and would guess MS64.

LIBERTY is not sharp enough for a monster designation IMO.
It's not gonna be sharp. pre-1916 Buffs are all like that. Coin looks like a 65 to me.
Great strike without a 3-D tail, which would have been there had it been a proof.

That’s a awesome strike!

1915 Buffs often come nice. This date can be substituted for the ultra-common 1938-D if a collector is looking for a date that's full or nearly full regarding the strike. Actually, a true full strike is hard to find on the '38-D. It's more common to see a 1915, 1916, or 1917 fully struck.
