The only thing my critics seem to be good at are providing ZERO solutions to the counterfeiting epidemic - only complaints about how "offensive" those who offer solutions, like myself, are.
To the 75% of you respondents who agreed, in some shape or form, with the solutions in my poll, I remember you, and I thank you. Your speech may have been silenced, but they can't erase the thoughts of the silent majority.
At least we all know why now our speech was silenced. Money rules everything, it seems.
The folks here at PCGS do not want to censor anyone or infringe on freedom of speech.
This is PCGS's forum and they make the rules, it is nice they provide & maintain this area for us.
There is a time and a place for everything, this is not the place for everything.
There are open forums on the web that will let you discuss almost any topic.
If you persist you may find yourself censored further.

You've labeled an entire country as crooks because a few people in that country make and sell counterfeits. Your solution is not a solution.
1) I never labeled 100% of Chinese people as "crooks". As I said, in the thread for my original poll, 99% of Morgan silver dollars listed on eBay from China are fakes. Obviously there are honest coin sellers in China, but from what I see on eBay (and Wish, and Amazon, and Alibaba, and numerous other e-commerce websites), most Chinese coin sellers are selling fakes. Those are the facts.
My poll included a third open-ended option (which you seem to omit in your description of my poll), which included the ability to review and "vet" individual sellers and dealers in China, to verify that they're honest, legitimate sellers and not crooks. But the status quo of just anyone being allowed to create a fly-by-night 'popup shop' on eBay, to sell thousands of fake coins that flood into USA - (the flawed status quo) - well, that CLEARLY isn't helping Americans avoid scams. Something has to be done to stop the crooks. My personal opinion is that licensing of coin dealing on eBay and elsewhere if the seller is from outside the USA would be better than nothing, and maybe it could include all foreign countries (not just China alone, as seems to be your concern) and therefore that would make it more "fair".
For you to say that my poll did not include any solution, or a variety of solutions to the counterfeiting problem, is simply false. It clearly did offer those solutions. Whether you agree with the options provided therein as being efficacious or the most effective option of all possible options is not _ equivalent to saying it isn't a solution _at all, because the requirement for defining a successful solution would be dependent on whether or not the solution achieved its' intended goal - stopping the flood of Chinese counterfeits into America. And even under the most restrictive answer offered within my poll options - a total ban on Chinese listings of American coins on eBay - that would most certainly reduce the amount of Chinese counterfeit coins coming into America. By 100%, to be exact.
So don't say it's "not a solution". It would be one, just with an unfortunate side effect of collateral damage to the few legitimate Chinese sellers of American coins (which is why I included a licensing option in the poll options, as described above.)

I never called for your censorship.
2) You're lying when you say that you never called for me to be censored. In the original poll, you left a comment calling for me or my poll to be censored, and now even in this thread, you said on October 30, 5:39AM "It should have been shut down", stating your support for censoring my poll, along with those who responded to it. You support censoring my speech. To say you don't is a bold-faced lie.
Now, if you want to have a productive conversation about confronting the counterfeiting epidemic, we can have that. But if you continue to contradict yourself while calling for my censorship, I have no interest in being censored or talking to people who want me to be censored.
Ludicrous. It is really not worth engaging you on this.
I have pointed out - correctly it seems - that your thread would get shut down. I didn't flag it to PCGS nor indicate that I wanted it shut down. So don't make up falsehoods.
Again, I'll say it slowly: Your "solution" is NOT a "solution". I never said you didn't propose anything. I said that what you proposed was simply not a solution for the reasons I enumerated. So, again, don't make up falsehoods.
And, yes, you are calling a whole nation of people crooks when you suggest banning ALL OF THEM from eBay because of the counterfeiting problem.

Agree.
The OP is almost begging to be banned, it seems.
I don't know why he is so upset about this. We discuss counterfeits EVERY DAY on this forum. We discuss Chinese counterfeits at least weekly on this forum. It is a topic that gets discussed frequently.

Perhaps you still don't fully understand what you are dealing with. While your subject matter - the counterfeit problem - is important to all of us including our host, Complete freedom of expression is not part of the CU experience. Your poll is long gone. I should have thought you would be over it by now.

If you actually think the simplistic "solution" to counterfeiting is to ban Chinese participation on Ebay...LOL
One thing I learned very fast on the forum, is that we do not make the rules around here. We follow them. This is their forum, and they have the right to run it as they see fit. If anyone isn't clear on that, then they can just pack up their belongings, rent a U-Haul, and move on. Now please step aside, I've got two chili dogs waiting for me..

Where is that poll?
It went POOF! Hence his reasoning for starting this thread.
