Are these strike throughs?

I've been going through my collection and found these which I saved thinking they are mint errors.
One is missing the first S in stated another is missing the D in dollar and the bicentennial is missing most of the stars and the "half dollar" lettering is severely muted.

It's easier to analyze photos in their correct orientation.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

They look like rotated dies. :D

Could be strikethrough grease but more likely...

Someone with too much time and a dremel or similar and did a bit of heavy handed metal removal (polishing).

The pics, mainly, the last one appears to show flow lines, then abruptly disappears/thins way before the missing letter and starts up way after the missing letter.

The D appears partially there, indicating some wear and the S appears to have been removed....both would be PMD. Cheers, RickO
