novice question on find

long story short, buddy found a box of silver variety.
11 merc dollars:
2 - 1880
1 - 1881
2 - 1900
5 - 1921
1 - 1927
4 - frank halves
1 - 1949
2 - 1950
1 - 1951
20+ kennedy halves
few bicentennials, but rest range from 1961 - 2000 w most being ‘71
and then the most unique seems to be a 1952 carver/washington coin that i have never seen before.
coins are definitely circulated. some very circulated. ive already scrubbed them all thoroughly with comet and a wire brush to clean them up. (totally kidding) but any help on any key years or mints i should be looking for would be greatly aporeciated.

I'm in for the merc dollars. A definite rariety. Regardless of condition.
Keep on scrubbing with the wire brush. You cannot do this enough to make people happy!

Invest in a RedBook. It's a must. Many of your questions can be answered there.
I assume the dollars are morgan and peace dollars. Those have some value. As stated already, Red Book is your friend.
The rest is very common. Some is face value. Some is bullion value.
A circ 1952 Carver is maybe $10
1964 Kennedy Halves are 90% Silver. 1965-1970 are 40% Silver.
Check for then in your 20+ hoard.
Pete
In very bad taste, poor advise to give a novice
Do not clean.
You probably have Morgan Dollars
Brain fart.
They are morgans.
I neglected the mercury dimes part. 10 of various years.
Yes. I have a few.
Red Book (Book of US Coin) and the Cherrypickers’ Guide are a couple very good reference books @artee.
Enjoy!
I would say the OP has read a bit here and the reply understood the tongue in cheek!
Are all the 1921s Morgans?
Red book a great resource, but ignore the inflated values listed.

Trust the advice above (Redbook/CPG) and look at each coin.... Get back to us with what you find. Cheers, RickO
Redbook, spiral in large print to treat your eyes right. Google searches are your path to numismatic resource websites to save. Oh yeah! And come back and read about everything here. Peace Roy
