I ran a 6 person bulk sub that popped last night. A couple of disappointments in my portion, but overall I'm pleased. Here are my grades, with a few notes.

Thanks fellas! I’ll post scans when they’re back in hand. The Rose is gorgeous on the front, but has paper loss on back. You’re right, the PSA 5 Venz was a home run!

I knew there were ultra difficult so I looked at the 64 pop report only a total of 8 8's none higher.

I learned they were also issuing an album to paste them in and that is the reason backs are all messed up.

What are the other factors for so few surviving in better condition?

aslo do u have an idea of production numbers?

Yes, the album is a major factor, but in addition they were printed on very soft, very thin paper. Most were destroyed, or badly damaged.

With that said, there weren't very many to begin with. I'm not certain of production numbers, but I've read multiple places that 1960s OPC were printed at about 5% of the US issue, and even fewer Venezuelans were printed than those. I'm guessing 2-3% of the US issue. Below are total PSA graded populations of the 2 sets I collect, for comparison.

1964 US: 200,000
1964 Venezuelan: 3900
A little less than 2%

1968 US: 292,000
1968 Venezuelan: 1500
About 0.5%. Yes, half of one pct.

Also interesting to note that these stats back up what I said about 64's being more plentiful than 68's.

Only one big miss, but a lot of one grade under expectations. Really happy to get the 96 QoS Travel in a slab period. The N6s are odd, especially on the metallic 'card', so I'll check them out once their back and likely cycle through on another sub.

I also got around to scanning the rest of my portion of the sub. Here are the most noteworthy of the remainder.

That Foxx is only the 10th copy graded by PSA. The Flood below is pop 1, with only 3 higher.

And the rest were for my Yaz master set. I also included some 1983 Starliner Stickers of Yaz, but they won't grade the set.
