PCGS DAMAGE!!

I sent 3 coins for grading and it cost me a lot of money.
I requested express service and it took over two weeks.
3 condition sensus coins were sent it.
The grades that came.back were MS66-FS for a Jefferson nickle and a 1962 D lincoln cent.
THE 1963 D SUDDENLY HAS DAMAGE!!!!! There was no damage when shipped and 30k insurance was paid..
The coin was given code 98-Damage.
I WILL NOT RENEW MEMBERSHIP.
OTHER COLLECTORS HAVE REPORTED THEIR COINS WERE DAMAGED TO. Those collectors as well as myself are not happy.
How can something like this keep happening...
Why is it that I request express service and it takes so long.
Why does the post office report PCGS RECIEVED the order on the 5th yet PCGS didnt receive or log it in until the 7th....

STOP YELLING.
Can you elaborate?
It probably isn’t PCGS’s fault, you may of overlooked it, or it got damaged in transit.
Yea call pcgs customer service! Dont yell and scream. Explain calmly what happened and see what can be done. Remember the people you talk to at customer service dont grade the coins or even touch them for that matter!
HAPPY COLLECTING
Your post will get you nowhere, other than banned. I’d recommend editing it appropriately or deleting it entirely. Then contact PCGS directly, in a civil fashion and make them aware of the situation.

Pics or it didn't happen.
In order for pictures to be of any relevance at all, they would need to show the coin both before and after submission. And even if they were available, I doubt that PCGS feels this is the place to present them.

I assume he doesn't care if he gets banned.
I'm not trying to be rude or upset you more than you are now.
You have posted several coins that you were unsure of what you were seeing.
Could the coin have turned out to be PMD rather than a design feature?
Can you give any more info on the coin other than 1963 D?
OP did a very poor job of communicating the issue to us. I hope they do better with PCGS.
I guess we'll never find out what happened as they are on borrowed time here on the forum.

I’m actually so impressed by the comments. They are articulate, helpful, and offer good advice. How’s that for making lemonade out of lemons. Which goes good with the 🍿

Foolish tactics will yield nothing. Good thing it’s a virtually worthless coin.
Yes damage does happen on rare occasions. I know of several incidents. This is not the place to vent. As all have said above...CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
IBTC? please translate for us semi-literates.
Did that 62-D and 63-D happen to be from those rolls you tried to sell here for $25k?

I take it that you saw the coins in hand and knew they couldn’t possibly grade high enough to warrant submission?😉

I’d like to see the actual SLABBED coins.

Edit: What was the value that was put on the submission form?
The skeptic in me always questions things.....especially on this forum.
Heck, I even question user names on a forum like this, that has seen so many banned (and alt) characters.....I mean, "lathyrus" kind of sounds like "Lazarus" ... and wasn't "Lazarus" returned from the dead?
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
The guys name is a play on Lazarus. He hasn’t replied. Pretty sure he’s a reincarnated troll.

The 1963 D was defiantly MS67 because even under the microscope it is exactly, (or was) like the 3rd the have imaged in the price guide.
So the value would have 14k.
Your a grader at which TPGS?
Post a pic of the slabbed coins you got back from grading, please. Or, the cert# if you have GS/TV.
This post may be only possible on a holiday weekend
It is not unusual for their to be a lag between delivery and log in.
You should not be the first person to miss damage of some kind on the coin.
Venting to us is useless.
Does the coin look exactly the same as when you sent it? If so, they didn't damage it, they just view it as damaged.
How many 67s or 68s have you gotten into slabs previously? If the answer is zero, the problem may be your inexperience not our hosts.
Your BST offer suggests your inexperience.

I would almost Guarantee that there is at least 1 ms68.if not 68+ or higher.... However, I will guarantee there is MS67+ and more than 1.

I read 'perinial' as perineal, not perennial (occupational hazard I guess). Needless to say, this made me chuckle.
In any case, at least with regard to the dates at least, October 5th is a Saturday. October 7th is Monday, ie the first business day. You need to calm down and reset your expectation on that one. Unless you meant September, in which case your grievance seems somewhat delayed (and someone actually was pulling Saturday hours). Delivery by the post office does not mean instantaneous logging in of a submission.
(Assuming this is not a troll post) everyone misses something on a submission even after years of experience. It happens. So, deep breath, calm down, edit wisely, and make a civil phone call.
