1908 "no motto" Saint Gaudens

Hello everybody! 1st thing is I'm new to this forum (not to forums tho) as well as pretty green in coin collecting! I picked up this Saint a few weeks ago and was wondering if I sent it off to CAC if it would be in vein? I've read their pretty tough on these, +Gem Saints. Any feedback would be much appreciated! Heres some pics....

    Welcome to the forum.

I’m sorry to say, that based on the images provided, I’d be shocked if the coin received a sticker.

Thanks guys! Yes I do love this coin regardless was just contemplating the future. If I ever have to liquidate may make it easier to unload. I definately dont have plans to do so. But I see the few hits on Lib's legs, hips, sun Ray's so I wasn't sure.

@Jayyk31....Welcome aboard.....That is a nice gold coin, however, I do not think it will get a sticker. However, why not give it a try? Consider the cost to be tuition....Cheers, RickO

Here is a big picture of your coin. (click pic for dinner plate size)
    It looks very nice.
Don't let JA's opinion bother you if it doesn't sticker.
He prefers a look I don't much care for.

Nice superb Gem - ditto comment above (agree w ReadyFire).

Give it a try if your game. CDN bid for it will increase from $1960 to $3525 if CAC. That is an increase of a whopping 80 pct or $1565 which would buy an MS64. What I wonder is who pays that when that difference will buy an MS64? Take the money and run lol. Otherwise would not let it bother me it’s a nice coin.

The coin has a reverse scuff mark above the sun and some lite obv marks in right field. A small gash on portrait above knee. However it has very nice appeal, color, and luster and no spots I can detect. I would take it over a stickered coin that was spotted especially if seller asking CAC money.

Thanks for blowing up the pics for me! I'm not sure why they showed up as links? I use a photo sharing site and usually they show up on my post! Thanks for the input guys. I'm gonna go for it and see what happens! Not a biggie if it doesn't sticker as I love it anyway!

As a 66, I really don't think your coin will pass CAC review. Why pay for the shipping + insurance while also taking the risk of loss by it getting there and returning home?

Agree with the above. Beautiful coin regardless of whether it stickers. Congrats on the pickup!
