I just saw on the news they are calling it the saddle ridge fires. Why does that name sound familiar?🤔

Late September and October is always the worst. Wild fires are to California what snow is to up state New York. Just the way it is. Problem here is too many people living in and around areas that were until very recently uninhabited wilderness. Natural caused wildfires are bad enough, but more people equals more fires. It's a double whammy.

Sounds like an epidemic caused by careless people. It's an unfortunate thing. No matter where you live, there is something to contend with. I pray for everyone's safety....

one that killed a lady and destroyed 75 mobile homes was started by a trash truck dumping burning trash on the side of a road.

The Saddleridge is under investigation. Number of eyewitnesses said they saw the first flames under the base of a 220,000 volt high power line.

Yes, careless people are much to blame. My family is 6th generation California ranchers. At this point in my life, I would be hard pressed to point out ANY area that hasn't been burned over many, many times. Our house and all the out buildings were burned to the ground in 1965. Wildfires are the most common feature of California's ecosystem. It won't stop until the whole state is paved over. Big job but I assure you the powers that be are working on it. Paradise at one time.......now a hellhole!

P.S. California is a BEAUTIFUL hellhole and you can't beat the weather. Other than that.....stay away. This place has gone INSANE!

Things I don't miss about living in California:

    Fires
    Earthquakes
    Traffic
    Taxes
    Pollution
    Crowds
    Price of gas
    Price of milk
    Price of housing

27 years sober of living in California. I hope I never fall off that wagon.

amwldcoin, political posts are not allowed here according to the rules. I would love to rage my political views on certain types of people in the US like you do against the 'socialist virus' and 'liberals', etc. is extremely political. But I can't, it is against the rules. And it is also against the rules for you as well. Please stop. Yes I am a self appointed mod when folks here start pontificating political views rather than discussing coins...........

    Thanks, SH
