GTG of this dime. LOL, ANSWERED

At one time coins were "split-graded." A grade was assigned for each side. This is a poor image but what is your opinion of its grade?
. Then, we'll grade the other side when I post it.

This is a private poll: no-one will see what you voted for.

It’s an MS 70 (joking).
So far it is a tie for all grades except 58. Unfortunately the magnified image is worthless so you'll need to "wing it." Appreciate the comments and cannot wait to finish this tomorrow morning.
Hint: This coin is a dirty AU. It is not a 50. This side will clean up nicely.
This "piece" PROVES that anything can be graded. You cannot tell from the image but It is very close to Uncirculated. I don't wish to conserve it to reveal the luster. Any guess of AU-53 to 58 is a good "technical grade."
Here is its other side and the edge:
I thought so.
really

That is an interesting piece, I assume an old magician's coin. How are they bonded together?

Finally got the LOL from the original post
Don't know,
I trust that NEXT TIME someone tells you they can't grade a coin without seeing both sides, you won't object.
I sure will. As you can see from the poll, each side of a coin can be graded separately - just as it was done by the major grading services (in the late 1970's) LONG BEFORE many members on CU were out of high school.
Today, both sides are still examined. The obverse is given the most weight and the examination is distilled down to one #.
