Is this coin a die clash

Alteration!
Better question is:
Guess what the reverse of this coin was sitting on when it was banged with a hammer. Perhaps the jaws of a vice.

Guessing a vice was involved...
The hash-marked reverse is somewhat different, since usually the perpetrator tries to protect the vice jaw side with something soft. But in this case, I'm guessing the vice jaw had an aggressive surface.
Either the coin was placed reverse side down on an anvil and another coin was placed on top of the coin and hit with a hammer, or the coin was squeezed with another coin in a vice. The lines on the back show the impression of the anvil/vice, and the "clash" on the obverse is an incuse backward image, Not to mention rim damage,
It's a 'sandwich' coin - the reverse of one cent
was simply pressed into the obverse of your cent.
Damaged.
