SHE’S BACK!!!!!

The first time
It’s been many years since I made this mistake of selling a coin to a friend without comparing them in hand. I knew they were both very nice examples both grade AU55 and both CAC’D. I didn’t realize until I went to the bank that I screwed up. Instead of going back on my word, I kept it and sold him the coin. My friendship is worth more than a nice coin. He found out around 2 years ago that I regretted selling the coin and offered her back. Wow I was amazed, I didn’t except right away. I wanted to make sure that he was sure he wanted to part with the coin. Well his dollar collection was sold to GFRC and my time had come to bring her home.
Thanks again Mario
One thing about this transaction that never left my mind was the shark circling around the table when they saw the coin. The blood was in the water And waiting for any scraps. I went through with the deal anyway!
The second time
I was on Talktap Liberty Seated coin boards.
I was on vacation and just saw an incredible 1859s Vf lsd cac’d posted. Omg it was an amazing coin and a upgrade for my set. The only problem was in my heart I knew it was an even better coin for my pal Leeroy Brown’s set. I contacted the member and left a message. Contacted LeeRoy and told him I was trying to get the coin for him. Had a great conversation with the Dealer and told him it was actually for a friend I just found the coin. Turned out I had done business with him before and he’s a great guy and dealer. Had to strike while the iron is hot. Well I also ended up getting this coin back ,when a big land purchase went through.
It’s nice to have coin buddy’s that treat you right. Here they are!

What goes around... comes around.... You deserve both of them. The 71 looks awesome and that 59s makes me weak at the knees with her crust. Congrats!!!
Great story!!
Great story!

The Specialist wasn’t mentioned.
The title she’s back is referring to the two Liberty Seated dollars.
I know once I opened the thread. But when I saw the title, for some reason I though "Laura!"
Lol

No problem
I usually refer to my coins as her because of Ms Liberty.
The 1871 I bought years ago from a collection in New Hampshire. I bought everything that I could possibly afford. The coins were amazing that I bought. I did a walk through at cac and went 19/20 that day. JA said the coins were amazing. I keep a few for my personal collection.
Here’s another I have from that collection. See looks much better in hand.
One of my favorite all time movies! The Knight at the bridge....."None shall pass". Bring you Dead. Love it.
What about the knights who say Ni?
