1889 S Morgan-Possible Grade?

Received this coin after going through some of my wife’s father’s belongings. He had some random silver coins separated into yellowing envelopes. This appears to be the nicest of the bunch. Any idea on a possible grade? Is it worth grading, at all? All opinions welcomed and appreciated.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
I was worried about the scratches. It’s too bad about the cleaning. I do not know enough to recognize that. Thanks for the education.

I would say AU at best....is that how you found it? I wonder if your father-in-law cleaned it....Cheers, RickO
AUish, wonky surfaces....would not straight grade.
Au looks about right but I believe it would details grade due to cleaning
HAPPY COLLECTING
I dont know enough to give opinion of grade. I want to know how you know it has been cleaned. What is the dead giveaway.
Not so much a dead giveaway on the cleaning as a slightly "off" look, especially on the obverse. More sheen or gloss than luster. It could be that the lights are unflattering and it looks less cleaned, or even not cleaned, in hand. Either way, however, the scratches look like show-stoppers for a straight grade.
