I remember this auction earlier in the year by a well known weekly toned ebay Seller. It brought $1475 and I think was even posted here in his occasional thread touting outstanding results.

Sooo….. while perusing ebay the other night, I happened on these consecutively cert numbered hopefuls from our favorite sulfur loving friends at XYZ. Yes, all straight graded no problem coins. B)

The first image may show a completely original coin and I write this because that commem issue is one of the few modern comments that can very occasionally be found with vivid, typically one-sided toning. The other pieces; well, I think most would know what I think of them...

I have reservations about the first one but wouldn't pass judgement until I could view in hand. My experience has been single sided toners for this issue as well.

I respect the opinion of @TomB...and understand what he says about the coin.... However, I believe these are all AT....interesting effect (and obviously profitable), but induced nonetheless. Cheers, RickO

They are probably all natural. Most rapid AT methods would not be so one sided.

Don't get me wrong, they probably came in contact with a sulfur source, but I imagine it was due to packaging not direct chemical exposure. Similar things happen frequently with Canada cased dollars fron the 70s because if the foam they were packaged with.

I make nothing out of the consecutive certs. A dealer who hunts these down will end up with consecutive submission numbers. I knew a Canadian fellow who was constantly on the lookout for natural blue cased dollars.

I'm familiar with the Canadian toned commemoratives and their characteristics but these are not NT.
This well known seller has flooded the market with AT. Thousands of coins.
Consecutive certs are certainly a clue if they have hundreds of them and they do.
