2019 currently being minted.
1939 not common in circulation but extremely common otherwise, in all grades from poor to gem cherry red uncirculated.
This doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't enjoy a 1939 Lincoln Cent -- it simply isn't scarce and likely won't be for hundreds and hundreds of years.....and perhaps not even then.
Why don’t you just ask the question(s), “Are these doubled die” or “Is this an error” versus “2019 Lincoln cent Shield and 1939 Lincoln cent Wheatback are these coins considered just common?”
Wording your title just to get views because you know many would just ignore the thread.![:| :|](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/neutral.png)
IMO
Over the last five years, I am certain that I have sent 500 to 1,000 circulated Wheat Cents dated 1939 to the Coinstar machine.
I don't see anything in your pictures that would suggest anything unusual.
For great info on 1939 (and many many other) doubled dies visit www.coppercoins.com.
It's a wonderful resource put together by a very knowledgeable and talented guy.

Common coins...nothing unusual... all anomalies are PMD (Post Mint Damage) and wear....Get the reference books noted above, they will be a tremendous resource. Cheers, RickO
There are numerous minor double dies for many dates in the Lincoln series, most are super minor and have little to no extra added value. Your pics of the 1939 are too blurry on the closeups for my eyes to be sure but check out the coppercoins site listed above and you may find a match. I will buck the trend and say that the 2019 may be a DDR, the serfs are split in some areas, I would send it off to Chuck (the owner of the coppercoins site) and have him review the coin in hand for you. It may indeed just be machine doubling but worth the 50 cent of postage to find out imo.
