It looks like that was a good decision to not have notifications on as this picked up steam. I am a new CAC member as of June and I was trying to decide what group of coins to try to get stickered. Ironically, my most CAC'ed group (as a percentage) is my franklins. Here are two of mine both of which are Plus graded. I was trying to identify the benefit of the sticker on the plus. I am not convinced I believe in CAC for plus graded coins when someone (TPGs) have already rated it an A coin. It seems more powerful on the non-plus straight graded versions. I liked @MrEureka comments about "FWIW, JA has said, more or less, that CAC ignores the plus signs because there are limits on how precise grading can reliably be, and plus signs take us beyond those limits." I just am unsure, despite my own collection having plus graded CAC examples if I would submit them myself

What qualifies for a collector's coin verses the more plentiful "run of the mill" coins? A discussion that has not occurred here...........ever.

I'll suggest a slight change:
The more GOOD qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!

That's OK, your personal grading standards are very important TO YOU; just as my personal grading standards are very important to me. While my personal grading standards are NOT IMPORTANT to anyone, JA's personal grading standards are very important to very many folks. That is the difference between me and JA. I'll bet this situation can be applied to the personal grading standards of others too - even those limited by a narrow focus on one type of coin.
My experience may be non typical, but over a few hundred coins crossed and the ones judged worthy stickered, there were no pluses awarded. All the plus coins I have bought as plus did not sticker. So for me plus coins dont sticker, and sticker coins dont plus. I have not been able to figure that one out.
I own many TPG coins with and without stickers. However, I've owned only one plus coin that also happened to have a sticker. Over time, I didn't like the look of it so I sold it off.

There are hundreds of descriptive words that could go in there but if that one works for you.......very good!

Don’t struggle with that decision. For just $14.50 each, submit them. For those coins that succeed in getting the sticker, 1) you (or your heirs) will receive increased value when they are sold, and 2) those with the stickers will be easier to sell.
A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine!!!
